I have tried looking to find out some information on the minipac but to no avail. So I was hoping some of you might be able to help me :).
I bought a minipac, and wired it up. But I could not get any response to be sent to the PC. It detects everything just fine but no key presses are sent.
I believe my problem comes from the ground wires. I am very confused on how those are supposed to be hooked up. I daisy chained them across all of the common leads on the joysticks and buttons but I'm not sure how to "ground" it.
There is a prong that can be slipped into a connector that kind of makes the ground daisy-chain a complete circuit, but I don't know if that is the correct thing to do. There are probably 5 or so of the connectors on the ground daisy chain that are not in use. Is that possibly causing problems?
Sorry if this question has been asked somewhere and I couldn't find it. Sadly my CD that was supposed to come with the instructions/utilities for the minipac came cracked, so I can't see if there were any minipac specific instructions on that disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a multi-meter check the continuity of your ground wiring. On the mini-pac there should be a hook up that says GND, just connect your ground wire/s to that.

Thanks for the response. I will have to try to get a multi-meter from a relative, I'm sure one of them have one.
It's strange, I don't see any where to put a ground on the minipac. Here's a pic of one, not sure if it will totally help. I'll take a few pics and post what my minipac looks like... maybe I'm just blind.
Again thanks for the help.

Thanks a lot! I will try that in the coming days. Thanks so much for the quick reply. I recall seeing that diagram but couldn't find it since. Thanks a lot.

Yep, it's the first wire on the harness wired to the pin next to the key.
