Title: MAMEWAH and artwork (bezels)
Post by: TOK on August 14, 2004, 12:12:47 pm
Hey guys, I'm new to MAMEWAH. I've been using MAME32 on my new cab because I was familiar with it and game me one less thing to worry about while making sure the hardware was right.

I have MAMEWAH up and running, but one of the things I liked about MAME32 was the ability to turn off artwork for individual games.
For instance, I like using it for Space Invaders because it looks so bare without it, but I don't want to use the bezel for Robotron because it shinks the whole game.

What I found is that I can edit the MAME.ini to skip using artwork, but not a way to use it for only the select few games.

Sorry if this has been covered already.

Simply make game-specific ini files.

eg, invaders.ini

artwork 1

robotron.ini:

artwork 0
