Hey everyone... with the help of this forum, my Mame Machine is a huge success. Lucid's plans were great, and all the software and parts tips I received here were awesome. It is a hit at all my get togethers.
Anyways... I am ready for my next project. Working at an arcade in the late 90's, I was addicted to Rush 2049. Now I know this is available on Dreamcast, so I was thinking about making a Driving Cabinet. I have a couple of questions about it, however.
1. Does anyone know of any good sites with cabinet plans for a Driving Cabinet?
2. How are are shifters, wheels, and pedals hooked up. Just use a PC setup and use USB? I assume it will work in mame, I just want to make sure.
3. Are there any good frontends that allow you to use the 50 or so Mame Games, PC games like NFS, and maybe a Dreamcast emulator of some sort that would allow me to mount my Rush 2049 disk on my PC, so I don't need to hookup my Dreamcast?
Thanks for all the help, as always! I tried to search, but I didn't find much.

At the moment, the only working Dreamcast emulator is Chankast, available here:
http://chanka.emulatronia.com/FrameSetDC_Down.htm (http://chanka.emulatronia.com/FrameSetDC_Down.htm)
Its fairly new but works remarkably well with a fair range of games. Note that it doesn't support running games from the original GD-ROM but works well enough with images. Its still early in development but worth following as these releases have been impressive for a new emu.
