Hey Mr. Arcade...
Like I need a webscripting project on top of my arcade cabinet project.... but I was wondering if there's a way we could create an automated system using php/mysql...
I could host it on my server if need be (instead of geocities)....
What would be ideal is if we could hypothetically get mysql dumps of BYOAC location/nickname fields semi-regularly it wouldn't require much hands on maintenance....
*shrug* it's an idea anyways...

I agree... that way the people finder would have to have all the info of the byoac members at least.... Right now people seldom bother to register simply because there aren't a lof of people listed. I mean come on we have something like 300+ members. You can't all live no where. ;)

I am not an html guru at all. I thought I could whip up a page in no time at all....it took ME a while. :-)
If someone can make a better one, please do. Until then, I will do my best to update this page as needed. If there are 300 byoac'ers, then 1/3 have registered already.
I have heard back from a few people that have met up because of the page...they had no idea folks lived so close to them. I enjoy reading things like this...so if the page helped you find someone to mame with please let me know!

My html sucks too... this would be more of a sql/php thing. Someone who has intimate knowldege of how the yabb board works would have to set it up. (cough pj cough cough)

I need to just show up at Dudah's house with a roll of quarters, grab him by the shirt, and yell "GAME ON, MOTHERF#$%ER!" in his face. I'm sure he'd appreciate it. ;)

i founbd out delta lives near me wich is cool cause he know bout lcoala rcades and such just figured id sasy that heh ok and try and add me to the people thingy cause my browser wont initalize mail or somethign cause im on aohello for e-mail thanks
