Title: check out this awesome message board feature

you might have to sign up i dunno, but it has flash versions of classic games and it has a ranking for the boards. this would be so cool on this board!! is it possible to implement this?

I've not seen this availavle on phpbb or YaBB (ranking system from a game). The flash game if I remember correctly simply stored scores in the DB and then it was a couple of queries outputed. Come to think of it, I don't think it would be too hard to make it work with YaBB.

I have the flash games if needed and can provide the code that VBB uses for an ADMIN / MOD to implement if thats something that you are interested in.

Why not just go to a flash site or shockwave.com? Mameworld's looney bin has games on it too.

I don't see the need for it here. Not when there are other places to go to do the same thing. If we had games that no one else had that might be different :)

It sounds like a cool idea to me. It would be fun seeing what other members are good at. I could care less if I could beat some no namer's score on some other website, but here I know a lot of people (well, at least by a made up name, a random avatar, and some arcade cabinet pictures ;D)
