Title: Metal Cp
Post by: danyboy on August 10, 2004, 10:45:33 pm
Hi....
I just bought a couples of weeks ago, a nice cab with a metal cp. i removed the overlay completely. But it's seems to have a coat of protection on the top of the overlay. Any advice of what it could be?

I put a coat of primer, paint the cp in black and put a kind of vinyl sticker (d-c fix) but i want to put a protection over the vinyl. Varnish, Lacquer, i dont known? need help or advice...

Thanks in advance...

Plexi seems to be a good idea. Never done it myself though.

One of my cabinets had plexi over the control panel.  The only problem was it trapped dirt between the plexi and the overlay, it actually discolored parts of the overlay.
