Title: Happ Ms Pac-Man/Galaga Replacement Joysticks 4-way

I was checking out bob roberts about these sticks and it doesn't appear that there is anything to physically restrict the stick to 4 way. Now I was in wal mart the other day checking out the the Reunion cab and I don't recall there being anything to physically restrict the movement to 4 way, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So if both the above being true, was there ever any physical restriction on 4 way movement on the original Ms Pac-Man or not?

I have at least 3 of these, and believe me they are physically restricted to 4-way. The movement pattern they have is a diamond and not a circle.

The stick that actually ships in the reunion machine is not the same one Happ's sells, but it is also similarly restricted.
