Post by: mcdo15 on August 10, 2004, 04:30:41 pm
i'm sure this has been mention somplace but i can't find it...
i have pc/ps2/dc mounted inside a cab (total enclosed)... should i mount fans on the side of the cab for airflow?  and if so, which direction... i figure i put on on each wall for proper ventelation.

pc is out of case
ps2 and dc inside it's case

I would think that you probably don't NEED fans on the cabinet, but it couldn't hurt.

My guess would be to suck (cool) air into the cab at the bottom and push (hot) air out at the top of the cab.

I think you definitely need some kind of fan and ventillation from experience.  You are putting a lot of stuff that creates heat in a little box.  Get rid of the heat somehow.
