Hi I have a question about encoders. I am new to this so any help is greatly appreciated. I am about to start my first cabinet and I need 3 joysticks, 14 buttons, a trackball, and a spinner. So the question is which encoder is best for this setup. Also I saw a trackball on the i-pac website for $28.00, anyone have any experience with this? Is it to good to be true?

Lot's of opinion on encoders but I think for your set up most would agree that the Ultimarc MiniPac would be a good answer (I'm assuming that the 3rd joystick is going to be a 4-way wired to the same inputs as P1 8 way?).
As for the trackball, can't say I've ever used the Ultimarc one so I can only comment on my Happ controls 3" high lip Golden Tee replacement which is the bomb!

when I build my cab, I will have a similar setup but am putting a trackball in later. I plan on using a keywhiz for the encoder because it is pretty inexpensive and looks like a good product. then for the trackball later on I'm going to try a hacked mouse. of course I don't know how everything works because I haven't yet built my cp. but these are just my plans.
