Title: Got Centipede trackball... now what?

Okay, just received a trackball from a Centipede machine (thanks, ForkChop!) and was wondering what I will need to put it on my cab.

This is the first item I have as far as controls go, so I'm not anywhere near the wiring stage - but I would guess the plug at the end of the wires that's on there now won't hook up to anything. I'm planning on getting a minipac to get the optical hookups in addition to the normal ones, so I was wondering what I'm going to need to get to hook it into the minipac.

Also, as far as attaching it to the CP - I know there are mounting plates being sold out there, do I need a certain one to make it work? (other than making sure it's for a 2.25" ball)

You can hack a mouse.  It's easy and quick.

Likely you'll need a mounting plate.
