Title: When spinners go bad!
Post by: chrisinauz on August 09, 2004, 12:29:48 am
Well this weekend i've been planning out my ghetto spinner made from a hard drive, im sure you've seen the plans. Searched all over town found someone who gave me a WD HD with the PERFECT Spinner, totally took apart my control pannel to re-arrange things installed it, took it to RONA to get some machine screws to mount it and I dropped it....

Needless to say the inside parts of a harddrive are not as durable as you think they are haha so my spinner is now 2 pieces tried superglue, just didnt work, now I gotta search for another broken HD to take apart!! Arghhh!! Does anyone know of any good alternatives to spinner knobs? Instead of spending the $25 US to get a good one!?
