Title: FS Exidy Targ parts
Post by: rob1234 on August 09, 2004, 12:22:02 am
I own an exidy targ cabinet that I am converting into a mame cabinet. It has the boards and all the wirring still in it. When I bought the game it did not work. You could turn the game on and it would play music for like one second then nothing would happen. The guy who owned it before me thought that it was a power issue. If anyone is interested in the boards and all the wirring power supply etc pm me with an offer. I will be putting this on ebay in a few days if it doesn't sell. I live in ft mitchell, KY.

Hey, could you do me a favor?  I'd love to see pics of that cab, and if you could check the back of that Targ cabinet and see if there's a serial# plate..

I have an old Exidy cab that I'm trying to identify.  It might be a Targ, but there's nothing left to id it with except the shape of the cab and the serial#.  Mine is #10220, if yours is a close #, and they're the same shape, then I'd bet they started life as the same game.. even though mine's now a Rush'n' Attack.

Thanks!

there wasn't a serial plate number...I can't get a pic online since my digital camera files are too large to post. How can I edit the pictures in order to post them?

you need to use an image editor. Almost any image editor will do. Your printer, camera, or scanner probably came with one.

All you need to do is go in your editor, find resize on the menu, and resize your photo where it is no more than 800 wide or 600 tall. If your camera is taking pictures at 2048xsomething like mine is, then you can just resize them to 33 percent.

Yes, it's quite a victory that you found out. Now what is the name of the game?!  ;D

Ray, I don't know if you're kidding me or not!  ;D  The game is Exidy's "Victory".

Anybody got parts?

Still have the parts and the glass. I will sell everything for $15 plus actual shipping. If you don't want the power supply shipping should be much lower.
