Title: Xbox-how to change resolution for vga?

Hey
I have evox I think its called installed has mod chip in mit too.. (in the xbox)
I bought a vga adapter called the VCA transcoder thing.. lets you play xbox on a regular pc monitor at HDTV compariable ..blah blah.. anyways.. says to get it to work you need to change your resolution setting in your dashboard???? ie) 480 etc??? anyone advise how I do it????? whats it under?

Hmmm I checked cant find it anywhere .. my dashboard is um....evolution x if that helps. the isntrstuctions tell you how to set it in the default xbox.. but I have no idea for this one.

You need to run the msdash. It usually has a menu entry somewhere in the evox menu..

If not use a program like xbox explorer to run the xboxdash.xbe or msxboxdash.xbe file in c:\

(Xboxes are very customizeable as for the software load so the file name might be changed to something else, but these are the 2 most common ones.)

Also look over at the xbox-scene forums, they have tons of help for you.
