Title: FS: Red Ball Wico Shafts with Fire Button! -- * SOLD OUT *

I've talked about it before in the Main Forum. (http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=20914) And now they are available for purchase!

What are they?
These are NOS Wico red-ball joystick shafts with hollow tubes going down the middle. This lets me (or you) install a fire button on top, so you can have the classic red-ball look, but still play games like Assault and BattleZone, or if you also have a spinner, you can play Tron, Discs of Tron, and Forgotten Worlds the way they were intended.

I have an order page set up. My page has alot of text on it, but I urge everyone interested to carefully read it all so that A. the order is placed correctly, and B. no assumptions are made about the sticks.

For example:

- The shafts are LONGER than normal Wico joystick shafts. They are more like what they call "Robotron" style.

- The shafts will fit OLDER Wico leaf-switch joystick bases (the black ones), or you can order them to fit Happ Super joystick bases (for extra fee).

- The shafts are not chrome/steel. They look like aluminum. The metal is lighter weight and also lighter in color (not as reflective as chrome or polished steel)

- I have no e-clips, actuators, springs, bases, or anything else. Just ball + shaft + button + wiring.

C'mon guys. Alot more of you expressed interest in these originally, and once these are gone, that's it. You'll have to make your own.

$15 buy it now price. Used. Probably has rust on the shaft. You'd have to take it apart, shave down the metal, and buy a $2 Radio Shack button and install it yourself. That's $17 spent when you can buy my NOS quality shaft with button installed for the same price...

but it seems like they would go faster if you had a finished solution (ie, try and buy some wico 8 ways and maybe a few 4ways and sell them as a bundle.

Don't take my word about it... (because I don't know)... But it might be something to consider.

I think they are really cool! I don't have a real use for one.. but 6 months ago I might have bought one instead of getting a tron stick (better look and more useable?... I don't like flight sticks much).

Anyway SWEET item!

I HAVE acquired a few finally (just got them today). But now, how do I fairly sell all-in-one solutions to some people, and not to others???

Thank you to all who purchased the sticks. I am now completely sold out, except for the few I am keeping for my own personal use.

I gave 2 to mmmPeanutButter for giving me a power supply, so maybe he has no use for them...

To all who ordered, I hope you post pics of them "in action", and I hope they work out well.

Anyone waiting on their order, I am BACKED UP. Orders requiring the Happ Super modification take much longer, because my Dremel battery runs out in only 15 minutes. I appreciate your patience.
