its almost the same i will jsut add a quarter inch i think

The easiest way for you to figgure this out is to make a full size model from cardboard and measure it.
I wouldn't trust anyone's math, unless I knew him really well.

OK I GUESS I BETTER DO THAT THEN.... THANKS I WAS JUST ABOUT TO DO THAT LOL
-
use the pythagorean theorem
9 inch deep bottom, 0.5 inch rise
9^2 + 0.5^2 = top^2 or
9.014 about 9 1/64 inch deep top
but you are using a lot of different dimensions (16 wide then 12 wide or deep?) in your post so if that's not right just substitute the real depth of the bottom and the real height difference between the back and front pieces for the calculated depth of the top piece

i messed up a mit there i made a carboard model this should work
(http://teamend.freeservers.com/layout.jpg)
this is how its gonna look i guess...
-
---gosh-darn---..i love how your thing look man..
very cool.... :)
-
you really like it lol ima wire the box up to make shure i like it when i get the switches ect
-
i liked how it said.."PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND PAY'..other wise joystick look okay..but honestly..i am not fan of 1p panels.
-
yeah soem times the thing messes up my pics but if u reload they work most of the time from now on ill just post urls
-
plz be careful about the height of the thing....
if its only 1.5 in high, it might not be enough for the stick
and the buttons... (definitely not enough for verticals...
not sure about horizontals....)
also.... keep in mind thickness of the boards....
or else you'll be off a bit also....
;) ;D
-
OH SH*T YEAH how tall are buttons and sticks i guess i better make it 2.5 in in the front and 3.5 in the back.... ima try my cardboard thing first
-
if you're using super/competition stick with horizontal buttons, then 2.5 in should be good....
if you're using vertical buttons... you *might* need a little more... you can go to the Happs site... they have mounting views with all lengths... so, you'll know....
;) ;D

Man! My head hurts. That thread was hard to read. :)
-
ima go with 4 inch front and 6 inch back 2x4 and 2x6's lol easy pleasy!
-
When that stick is all finished, maybe you can start work on some punctuation. :P
