Looks like Taito is jumping on the 5 in1 mini console bandwagon after seeing Namco cleaning up with their two handheld classic game units. A pretty cool little list of games built into this little beauty too.. Only problem is it looks like a U.K. only release for now because it states that they're set up to plug into any *PAL* signal tv. :( Well that just bites ! Oh well maybe if its a big enough hit they'll make a version for the U.S.  :-\

There is also the Atari 13 in 1 2 player set coming. Too bad the games they selected are really ancient. Allthough they seem to have changed the games a bit (they don't look the same as the versions in MAME)

So how can a BYOAC guy make a setup like this.  Like a console game, but with arcade controls and instead of a console, a little computer in a custom box that plugs into a TV?  AdvanceMAME only Linux system that boots AdvanceMAME on startup with a TV out card? Any ideas?

I made one like that a couple years back.  Instead of arcade controls, I used PS2 controllers, though.  I used a Mini-ITX board in a Cubid 2677R case.
