I recently acuired the entire collection of SNES roms which are contained in 5 files .ace, .c00, .c01, etc...
I extracted them to my computer and they work fine, but now I want to get the packed files off my computer and onto CDRs.
So if I burn the .ace to 1 disk and .c00 to anther and so on will I be able to extract the files from the disk without (a) having to copy the 5 files to my computer or (b) have 5 optical drives?
In other words, how will winrar and the like react to only having access to one file at a time?

Why don't you just burn the extracted roms to disc? Seems that it would be easier to copy them to your harddrive the next time.

I *think* WinRAR will ask you for each additional file, IIRC. I had to do this with some CHD images a while ago.

Due to lack of confident response I decided to just experiment and posibly waste $2.50 in CDRs and it does just that Peale. When it's done with the first one, it prompts for the second.
Makes a heck of alot of sense why the files are 699mb a piece...
