Hello, I need one of these files for use with David Butlers Mamewah set-up program. Can anybody help?
-
What files? ???
-
Do you mean .95 - .97 ???
There is no MameWah v9.x.
If you are in fact just looking for the regular download, try the homepage http://mamewah.mameworld.net/ (http://mamewah.mameworld.net/)
PS - if you are looking for the normal files... may I suggest a search on the board or perhaps google in the future?? I mean.... come on now, we can't do everything for you :P

I'm searching for any version of mamewah between and including v9.54 to v9.70
David Butler's set-up program will only run with these versions.
I have already tried a google search without success, and visited the Mamewah site. 8)

There is NO version 9.anything.
At all.
NONE. :)
The newest version is .97 I just looked at the Mamewah setup site and I'm not sure why he wrote it that way, but he is incorrect.
Look here at the MameWah news page: http://mamewah.mameworld.net/news.html (http://mamewah.mameworld.net/news.html)
Scroll down and you'll see that there has never been an releases in that numbering scheme. Probably just a typo on the MameWah Setup page. Just download the newest version of MameWah and you'll be set. And honestly, MameWah is pretty easy to set up anyway, you could probably do it yourself.

While I call my versions eg 0.97, technically using Micro$oft's major/minor/revision system, this would be 0.9.0.7 (hover over mamewah.exe to see).
I think David has interpreted this in his own way, perhaps I will ask him to change it to avoid any confusion...

Sorry about that. ;D
It's just the way that VB works out the version ie major/minor/revision.
Will change it..........

Cool...
In future I will try to use more sensible version numbers! :)
