Title: Your Favorite Arcade Games from the 80's!

I'm not sure about ya'll ;D, but when I was a kid growing up in the 80's, the one thing that I loved doing when I was a kid was going down to my Local arcade and spending 10-20 bucks easily on my favorite games, when I think of the 80's as a decade, one word comes to Mind: Nostalgia, and with that in Mind I'd like to hear from the communtiy here and list your TWO favorite coin-op games (from each year) from 1980-1990, I'll start first:


1980: Pacman, Defender
1981: Galaga, MS Pacman
1982: Q*Bert, Pole Position
1983: 10 Yard Fight, Congo Bongo
1984: Flicky, 1942
1985: Ghost'n'Goblins, Commando
1986: Bubble Bobble, Outrun
1987: Double Dragon, PacMania
1988: Chase H.Q, Ninja Gaiden
1989: WWF Superstars, TMNT
1990: Aliens, Bonanza Bro's

Okay, I'll bite.  Mine would have to be:


1980:  Centipede, Wizard of Wor
1981:  Donkey Kong, Galaga
1982:  Burger Time, Dig Dug
1983:  Congo Bongo, Elevator Action
1984:  Bomb Jack, Root Beer Tapper
1985:  Ghosts'n Goblins, Yie Ar Kung-Fu
1986:  Arkanoid, Legendary Wings
1987:  Rastan, Shinobi
1988:  Altered Beast, Robocop
1989:  Crime Fighters, Golden Axe
1990:  Magic Sword, Smash T.V.


It's a little different, to say the least ;D

im gonna cheat and go 79-89 since 1980 didnt do it for me:

79: asteroids, galaxian
80: -
81: frogger, donkey kong
82: -
83: mario bros.
84: 1942
85: konami gt (think i remember playing it), love commando nowadays
86: joust
87: 1943, skyfox
88: robocop, tetris
89: -

now im gonna really cheat and add 1990: raiden!! i had a bit of a revival of interest in the 90's and raiden was everywhere (its still in my local fish n chip shop).
having had mame for six months i thought id play raiden at the shop. you know, i like mine better!! and not just cos i dont have to feed it coins...
