Does sound like a lot, but then I suppose glass is always pretty expensive.

Is it toughened glass?  I would try to get that if possible, hopefully for that price it is toughened...

I'm in the US, and I just got a cocktail glass for a Midway style cocktail cabinet.

22"x32" with 4" rounding for 53$ US.
It was a local glass distributer, and I hung around and talked with the guy and got him to drop the price from 73 to 53.
