My two favorite games, the reasons i was so excited to get mame in the first place, and i hear they are unplayable. Does anyone know if working versions are ever going to be available, any ways to get them to work ect?

Just get the PC versions

As far as if they will "ever" be available... of course they will. When is the question. I don't particularly like either game, so I never played them in MAME (or rather, tried to), but eventually they will be playable.
In the meantime.... get the PC versions like was suggested.

I am even dpoing a jamma set up in my cab, jamma to jpac to pc, so i could switch between pc and blitz showtime pcbs, and i just found out they sill arentr playable because u need 49 way joysticks, im getting frustrated.

My question is: if you knew those were your 2 favorite games... why did you not look into this before hand?
PS - you should put the same thread in multiple forums... its annoying.

Blitz works just fine; the problem is it's too slow to play.
Give it a few years, and computers will be fast enough to play it.

Right you are. Moved it and merged the topics.

I'd like to find a copy of Showtime for the PC. Anyone know where to get it? I'm not sure it was ever made for the PC. My google search only came up with PS, PS2, XBOX, Gameboy, N64 versions...
Blitz PC works great! Now if only I could find a no-cd crack for it!

You don't NEED 49-way joysticks, as there is a 49-way/8-way setting you can change in the game.
OTOH, I don't like the play with an 8-way. I never was able to play with a 49-way stick, but I think the game would play better with 49 than 8-way. [shrug]
