Title: PS2 to DC controller adapter?
Post by: simplygriff on July 23, 2004, 10:25:02 am
Anybody found a good Playstation 2 to Dreamcast controller adapter?  I have 2 MAS systems sticks I should have gotten DC support on but didn't  ::)and am now looking for a DC adapter :-\.  If anyone has some first hand experience with one I'd love to ask you a couple of questions.  Thanks! ;D

Do you think there is anyway that you could use L1 & L2 as opposed to either of the Right Shoulder buttons?  The layout on my MAS sticks has L1 & L2 and the 4 face buttons in a 6 button streetfighter style layout but the Right buttons are over to the side in the 4 buttons I have for the C-stick on the gamecube.  Here's a pic.

Sorry, you are out of luck there.  But you could just re-wire the R buttons and L buttons inside the MAS.   :-\

If you really wanted to get creative, you could get a QPQT switch (4 pole 4 throw) switch, and connect both the L and R button wires to it.  This would make the L1 and L2 switch to R1 and R2 when you toggle the switch (mount it to the outside of the MAS).
