I was just curious if there are any jukebox programs that allow you to use a spinner as a volume control or to 'scrub' tracks, etc. I think it would be a pretty sweet feature, if not just a bit gratuitous...

Not that I'm aware of but if you are looking for an independant volume control "spinner" check out the Griffin Powermate.
I've got one in my juke and it works great.

that thing is sweet....how big is it (pics?) in comparison to say...a regular spinner and can it be mounted somewhere like on the underside of a cp? or do you just set it on top of something.

Well, hopefully, this will help.

I thought about just setting it on top of the jukebox to be able to enjoy the LCD but I ended up mounting it in the CP by just drilling a hole slightly bigger, routed out a bit from the backside (to give it a decent height), then I hotglued the powermate to a board and screwed that in.
Keep in mind that experimets people have done w/ it prove it to be just about useless as an arcade spinner, but it makes a very good volume control.

This would be awesome in Wincab if Chris can make it so the arrow keys (or the mouse) scroll from song to song and page to page. You could then scroll to the page and song you want and press the button to select. That would be SWEET!!! 8)

The arrow keys do allow you to move from song to song in the 3.0 beta. A spinner, though, would act as a mouse with only one axis.
I suppose I could add something like this... I could also theoretically use input from a mouse wheel for these functions. The volume control certainly makes sense...
