Title: Wiring I-pac VE question about 7th button

Hi all

I am wiring up all the controls to my Ipac VE.  I am just wondering what terminal on the board does the seventh button go to.

It's my understanding that most people wire the seventh button to an already existing button: ie like button 4:


       4     5     6
4     1     2     3

or something similar

MrBond, Question:  what is the point of having a seventh button if it does the same thing as one of the other six?  Am I missing something here?

4 buttons on the bottom row correspond to the neogeo layout, while the bank of 6 correspond to capcom fighters and the like..
