I updated to the latest MAMEWAH last week and I like the new features. The only thing that is baffling me is why the ingame screenshots are no longer showing up in the upper right corner.
I have the artwork directory set up correctly. When the screensaver kicks in, it shows the ingame pics without a hitch.
I am using the default layout.
Can someone give me a clue?

???
You've got me there...
Doesn't really make sense as your screensaver shots show up, but just to make sure the image decoder is properly installed could you do Start > Run > regsvr32 paintx.dll
Let me know if it makes any difference...

Thanks for the tip Minwah. but that wasn't the problem... and I am not quite sure what WAS the problem. I am not 100% sure how MAMEWAH works, but when I changed the layout I was fine. But the thing is... when I unzipped the layouts (about a year ago) they ended up in the mamewah/layouts/layouts folder.
Since MAMEWAH worked, I never questioned the folder placement (aesthetics of the FE wasn't / isn't a priority so I never tinkered with it).
So, MAMEWAH was loading SOMETHING, I'm just not sure what. Whatever it was loading didn't accomodate the screenshots.

Well that sheds a little light at least...
MAMEWAH will not have been loading *any* layout, rather using what I call the 'built-in Classic 640x480'. But still, that layout should work in exactly the same way as the 'real' Classic 640x480...I just tried it and it seems to work fine for me, so I can't really explain it ??? At least you found a solution!
