Title: Photoshop HELP!! Please!
Post by: AGGIEZ on July 20, 2004, 12:14:07 pm
How can I duplicate this text?

I created this marquee about a month ago and had it printed up by mamemarquee.com (looks great by the way!) and now I want to re-do my CPO so that it matches the marquee comic book background. I'd like to add the "Captain Americade" to the front of the CPO but I can't remember what "Blanding Option" were done to create the text in the marquee. Is there any way for me to see what was done to the text so that I can duplicate it for the CPO????

If not, no biggy, I just won't put the text on the CPO...

Why not just copy the text layer of your marquee to your CPO?

The image was flattened and I can't get to the individual layers? Is there a way to pick out a certain layer after they have been merged or flattened?

Use the Magnetic Lasso to select it?

Once an image is flat, there's no getting the layers back, which means you'll have to recreate the text/effects. It looks like you used layers effects and went with a rounded bevel/emboss, also an outer glow (with what looks like the default yellow color).

Thanks bitstorm. That's what I was afraid of. I'll just go with the background with no text then.
