Hiya all!
I'm a newbie here, have been reading left and right, and now I have a question for all of you.
:)
I recently picked up a Jamma cabinet I am currently modifying for MAME, and it came with a WG K7131 25" monitor (you can see my project pics here (http://www.poweroftheforce.com/cabinet).
My question comes from a power perspective. If I were to get a J-PAC, my understanding is that the switching power supply is relatively useless at that point due to there being insufficient load. That's fine...but what about my monitor? Do I keep the existing wiring for that, or do I need to hack some cabling to get it powered properly? From what I see, it goes from wall, to filter, to isolating transformer, to monitor.
Gut says keep it the way it is and plug the wall piece into a power strip or something, but since I didn't see anything resembling this topic, I thought I would ask.
Thanks in advance!
Ed

yep go with your gut.
Oh and might I add that your current workspace is the envy of probably everyone here--I haven't seen that much free space since my last visit to an empty warehouse :P

Your power supply is a genuine Peter Chou and they will work fine even with no load connected. The gray color of it's case is a dead giveaway. Peter Chou power supplies are the best arcade power supplies made!
Your monitor AC power is fine as it is.
