call me cheap (and you're probably right ;) ) but could you make your own coin door by drilling a straight line into the side of your cab and then putting a pushbutton behind it so that when a quarter/coin/token was inserted it would hit the button which would be wired to an ipac in the insert coin slot? i can't figure how to put a coin return slot in it (and why would you need one? if whoever's using it wants their moeny back, too bad!! ;D (seriously, though, i'd just give them a quarter) you could put the button back far enough so that if someone put a dime/nickel/penny in it wouldn't register. you could put a bucket in underneath so that quarters wouldn't be falling all over the place. plus, when i was just alone, i could have a thin stick and no need for quarters! :D does anyone know anyone who has tried this or have any ideas on this?

I think you gonna need a BRICK for a coin cause any coin won't push that button for you.
What you can do probably is just to get a ULTIMATE COIN MECH and hack it to attach the COIN SWITCH at the bottom and drill a slot for coins to drop in and triggers the switch. Here is the link for the COIN MECH.

this will accept any coins up to the dollar size. So drill a SLOT in the side/front of the cabinet and somehow attach the coin mech ( which I think is easy to do, just revese it the screw it in the wood, so the COIN will drop right in the COIN ENTRACE of the MECH) to the wood/cabinet. Heh !! hope you go the picture.
Maybe you don't even need the COIN MECH, just the switch or make/get an optical switch and install this next to the slot you gonna make, so when the coin drops, it trigers the switch and registers.
