Now that I finally have a Cab and have started work I should call it a project. My buddy came up with a marquee idea although Im thinking I like just "Multicade" rather than "Mikes Multicade"

Nice looking marquee :)
I'm not going to worry about naming mine until I get it all done. It'll probably end up something like the "Bodge-tastic Arcade Machine" :)
-
not to steal my marque name :)..
"MAMECAST"
mame and dreamcast...mix it up :P
i will be submiting my stuff later..as i am very lazy and busy playing ;D

Finally finished the finishing. I was going to roll it as recommended by many here but a friend wanted to use his new sprayer and try using a HVLP (High Volume-Low Pressure) gun he had access to. So in a fit of insanity we actually used the following procedure:
Stripped and sanded
Sprayed with filling primer and sanded smooth
Sprayed with a sealing primer and WET sanded until VERY smooth
Painted with HVLP sprayer with Midnight Metallic Blue Mustang Auto paint!
Sprayed with automotive clear coat

Its going to take a week for my arm and back to recover from the sanding

shiny
Make a car theme??? chrom t-molding, flames, hydrolics, windshield wiper, spare tire.
Do you have to wash and wax it??? ;D
-
That looks fantastic...
Rest your back, only 3 more sides to go... ;D
Smack

Thanks god there aren't 3 more sides to go, my back and wrist couldn't take any more wet sanding. Both sides are the same blue, the front is a semi-gloss black Krylon spray and the back I left alone.

Finally, I was able to play my first game on my cab this week, heres proof it really works as a friend tried assorted games to keep me at bay.

Congrats!! A job well done!

May I ask how you printed your marquee? Mine is all washed out. I think I may go get some paper and print it up here on my deskjet.
-
Actually the Marquee on it is temporary, its printed on an HP DeskJet 930C On bright white inkjet paper and then taped together. Once the final design is done I will print it on a banner of the bright white paper.
