Title: *SOLD* FA Omega Race cocktail- Now SOLD
Post by: MrArcade on July 18, 2004, 10:38:32 am
Sadly, I have to sell this.  Located in Ohio.  Great shape, working. Auction is over, high bidders have not responded....reserve was not met...offering it up for sale...first $400 takes it.

I would LOVE to get ahold of this...

what part of Ohio are you in?  I'm close to cinci and work in dayton.

how much are you looking for?  Are you interested in any trades?  (trades might be my only option right now... since I JUST about to close on a house, and my downpayment is taking almost all of my cash.

Is that picture real and what camera did you use. The backround is WAY out of focus and is very blocky around the arcade machine.

I used photoshop to blur the backround.  It makes them machine stand out a bit more when the background is busy...

Here is a shot with no blur:

OK, did I miss something?  It's still not listed right?  Are you selling it or not?

Why oh why does stuff like this only pop up when I'm flat broke? This is a super deal for someone!

Found this on KLOV... thought it was interesting, but then again, maybe every game did this...

Trivia
Like many games, Omega Race saves initials for high scores. However, it screens out the initials FUK and FUC (it will let you enter them, but will not display them again).

That looks like a nice machine.  Hope someone snags it, $400 is a nice price for the condition it's in, even though it's black and white--but it IS a vector.

I remember spending HOURS on end playing this game on my Commodore VIC-20 as a kid when I got the cartridge for it.  Don't think I've ever played it in Mame though.

Good luck on the sale.  (If you were closer AND if it had originally been a color vector game, I'd plop the $400 down right now :) )

I'd pay the money right now if you could get it to me in the Baltimore/DC area... but Ohio is so far away!
