Just finished up a Pacman cocktail replica using Kyle's plans. I plan to write up the whole experience. Here are the progress pics (http://www.myuselessprojects.com/cocktail/index.html) Too many of the staining process. :) It is running a real Pac board and is currently on location.

Very professional. I love the midway cabs. Did you get your hardware from mantis? Just saw an original for sale at a retailer. Was on free pay and must have had the speed chip cuz it was blazing fast. Brought back memories. Great Job.

Thank you. Yes, I did pick up the metal bits from Mantis. Kerry is a top notch person to deal with.

Thats awesome Tom, love that wood grain finish.

did you get your art at twobits.com? Looks good. Out of curiosity you don't have pics of the side with start buttons. Did you use midway start buttons?
I'm also getting jealous of some of the games I see in the background!

I made the art myself. We have the same material used for CPO's. (Our customers use it for POS (point of sale :) ) Kiosks, ATM's, etc...
Yes, I used Midway start buttons. I can shoot the other side and post.

Wow! I've made Midway style cocktails in the past, but never thought to mount the monitor like that. I always left it permanently mounted inside the cabinet, not attached to the top/side panel. Is that how the monitor is mounted in the originals?

Yes! :) Much easier to poke around inside when something goes wrong.

Do you have a source/link for the plans that you used? I'm planning my cocktail project now. Thanks!

He said "Kyle's plans", which I assume are the ones at http://www.arcadecontrols.org/arcade_cabinet_plans.shtml#Kyle_PacMan (http://www.arcadecontrols.org/arcade_cabinet_plans.shtml#Kyle_PacMan).
