Title: help im almost done with my cab and ive ran into some problems

ok ive ran into some problems in my dual mame machine. this machine is going to be playing mame along with golden tee golf 99 pcb. now the problem i ran into is the video from the pcb. i have already checked this and played this long before i had the cab setup and it plays fine on my other monitor. but if i do not have the vga cable hooked up to the monitor when the molex connector is hooked in from the pcb the video of the game will shift. but if it is in it will not but it will give a slight buzz sound from the monitor. is this bad?
