No kidding. Kinda pisses ya off, doesn't it?
Check out the history of this one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2129347943 Buy it for $25 and turn around and sell it for $125 a couple weeks later.
If Rodney's goes for this much, I'm gonna puke.

Nothing wrong with making a profit. People do it on ebay all the time. my dad makes a little extra spending cash off of ebay.
I bought a gamecube for $150 well before it was that price. I sold it for full price the next week. It's how business and capitalism works.
-
Thanks for the econ lesson, but that wasn't my point.
I realize that there isn't anything wrong with making a few bucks, but when I saw those monitors (which would be perfect for MAME cabs) go for relatively cheap, I guess I was hoping that they were won by people who would actually put them to use.
-
As I stated before When I bought these monitors
I bid on two hoping I would win one, not
thinking I would win either, and it turned
out I won both. I only need one monitor
for myself.
Yes I only paid $25 dollars for the actual monitors, but it cost $55 to get each of them to my door. If it sells for $55 I won't even be breaking even because of the small fee I had to pay to list the item with ebay and the fee I have to pay to billpoint plus my running around to ship it.
DO THE MATH PEOPLE!!!
I bought the monitor for my personal use
not to make money from it so before you guys go casting stones think about what your saying.
::)

Funny. You paid $25 for it here:
I think you forgot about the $30 shipping and handling I paid
If and when mine sells my shipping and handling goes
to FEDEX not in my pocket

Mama always said its better to be pissed off than pissed on

WOO HOO congrats for garagegorilla for making about
60 bucks on the deal. Betcha he's off buying a house in the Hamptons right now as I type this thread.
I guess I was hoping that they were won by people who would actually put them to use.
And I will put the one that I need to very good use
the other will go to someone else, hopefully relatively
cheap so they can put it to good use also.
You don't actually think I'm gonna pay $55 and sell
it for $25 do you?
If it sells for $40 dollars to some one in the mame
community I won't be happy that I lost about 20 bucks
but I will be glad that someone is gonna get a great deal
on somthing that they can really use and get enjoyment
out of
If I make a few bucks so be it
If Rodney's goes for this much, I'm gonna puke.
Please don't puke its no a pretty thing, besides your
partner in crime saw the light and deleted his post
realizing that I'm not a bad guy after all. He, just as you
are still, wasn't looking at the complete picture. I am just trying to recoup some or all of the monies I put out.

Hehe, you're easier to get fired up than 'ole Snaacky... Glad to see you finally figured out how to use the quote feature. :)
-
YEAH.... ;D
i also learned how to cut wood, make cabinets, make joysticks, design overlay, drill holes, use drill, use jigsaw, build computers, order online, mop the floor, how to brush teeth, how to work and earn money, make coin doors work just like arcades, paint, sand, how to skateboard, swim, bike, fly, jump, run, wear clothes, welding, not to get hit by truck, stay alive and tons and tons of others stuff....and finally learned HOW TO USE THE QUOTE FEATURE

Not fired up just don't want people to get
the wrong impression of me. I'm not about
the almighty dollar. Remember I paid $25 for these monitors and thats exactly what I bid so if someone really wanted them at the time I won them they could have bid $26 and they would have been theirs. I could have horded the Xtra monitor or set the reserve at a price where I was guaranteed to make 50 or 60 dollars, but as it is I stand to lose money for the good of the community. I just thought it would be nice if someone here could use it and I could get my money back out of it.
