Hi all, was wondering where I could get the little men start button gfx.
Is there any pics on the net I can get to print out or do I have to buy them.
Thanks in advance :)

Did you mean like the ones Happ Controls (http://www.happcontrols.com/pushbuttons/589111l1ply.htm) sells? Bob Roberts (http://www.therealbobroberts.com) also sells them.

Maybe I'm a bit cheap, but there's no way in h8ll I would actually pay money for a transfer of one of those little men. My seggestion is to find a good pic of one of these transfer cards and grab the image to make a stencil or decal or whatever.

I would think that someone more talented than me could whip up a vector (as opposed to raster) graphic clone in illustrator pretty easily... *Shrug* I suppose you could do the same thing in photshop too. or maybe if someone just shlop their player buttons on their scanner and scan it in at decent resolution someone could clean it up and stuff.
A stencil would be neat too... because of cost constraints I have 20 all black buttons from x-arcade... so it would neat to cut up a stencil and a little white paint and some finish to make the player buttons more obvious... (eventually I'll spring for the happs though....)

I've got a font installed on my system called Webdings. I can't remember whether it came with Windows or was installed by another program.
Anyway, if you've got this font then character Ctrl+Alt+4 is a symbol of a little man that may be suitable.

Try this (I used it on my CP):

Twist, dude... edit your post and link the image, don't imbed it. That enormous graphic is annoying as hell.

If someone either takes a photo of or scans the little man from the Happ start button, I can vectorize him in Illustrator.

Here is a WMF of a single man.

Will it work for what you are looking for?
