Hey everyone, just thought I'd point out I put my old TwistyGrip controller up for bids at Ebay. I got this way back when they first started (now they just have blueprints for sale at their page). Right now it's at $1 with no reserve, so someone here may be interested I thought... ;D

As for why I'm selling it, the PVC it's made out of is a little big for my hands, I have a hard time attaching it to my desk, and the buttons are a little flimsy. But there are probably enough guts for someone here to do something interesting anyway...

I have a real Star Wars yoke that is missing a couple internal parts... what's inside this TwistyGrip controller? Are the mechanisms the same, as in could I reap your controller for parts for a real one?

Hm, I didn't take mine apart for fear of breaking it... but considering the parts used for the outside look like they came from a hardware store, I really doubt the inside parts would help fixing your Star Wars yoke (which is a shame)

Crap, I'm just starting a major multivector cab project (soon to be announced on the projects board) and getting that yoke working is a major priority for me (since I passed on a gorgeous Star Wars standup to get the cab I'm actually using).
Still, maybe it would be good to get just so I could at least PLAY Star Wars until the rare parts I need pop up.
