Title: p360 quick question
Post by: MasTequila on July 07, 2004, 07:20:01 pm
Ok so I have looked at the instruction sheet about a million times and tried it as many ways as I can and I dont think I am putting it together right.  With the longer metal piece for a wood cp on I cant get the actuator at the bottom on with the e-ring. This must be an easy fix and I have just missed it so please help me out.

It took me ten minutes to realize that I had to really press hard on the actuator because the spring is so strong.  I kept thinking that the groove was in the wrong place, but it wasn't.

In short, press hard.

I've purchased several P360's and they all come with metal bushings that don't match the parts list.  The parts list describes 2 bushings (15-416400 .5" for wood & 12-408400 .156" for metal)  Instead they come with a single 5/8" bushing.  I think the manufacturer just assumes you will cut it to the proper length.  That's what I did.  You can compress the spring, but then it is rather difficult to insert and remove the "E" ring.  I just cut mine to 1/2" and it's much easier.

According to the instructions, if you have P360 questions you can call their support hotline:
