Any one know where you can get side art for Gauntlet? Thanks
-
there is someone selling them on ebay... for 175 or so.
I'm hoping that someone might have some good high res images. If so, I would consider doing a vector version.
And if you find a good location... PLEASE let me know. I would LOVE to get a set myself.

I have heard of "vectoring" but I donot know what it means. Can you or anyone shed some light on this

"vectorizing" is the process of converting a raster image to a vector image.
A raster image, such as a .jpg, uses pixel (individual dots) to create a picture. Blow it up too much and you get a distorted picture and "jaggies" along lines, making the larger image look pretty crappy.
A vector image uses a math equation to draw the lines of a picture, so no matter what size you expand or compress the image, it is always clear and the picture always looks just like the original did.
Hope that helps. And to vectorize an image you'll need a program that deals with vector images like Adobe Illustrator. Look on this board for Frosty's vectorial in the Artwork subforum I think.

Who can print these and what does it cost?
-
Depends on the quality your looking for
On vynal I think you are talking 75-125 (right? anyone?)
Or you can print them on color laser printers and peice them together yourself - 5 bucks.
IE, huge range depending on the quality your looking for.
