Title: ArcadeOS ScreenSaver Problems
Post by: RetroJames on July 04, 2004, 10:17:25 pm
ArcadeOS (AOS) screensaver, the one that cycles through the games, seems to freeze up pretty often.  I have left games running on the PC and they don't freeze up as well as the other screen savers, like the bubble etc and it doesn't cause the PC to freeze.  It is only when I use the "jukebox" option in the config is hangs.  Not on the same game either.  Anyone seen this?  Is this a known issue?  Thanks, James

I dunno about that, but my problem is it seems to come on *just* after it starts, or will come on as I'm scrolling thru the games.  It's like, "Hello!  Keyboard input here!  Why are you activating?"

I found that one, here is the fix - Goes in the autoexec.bat to clear the keyboard buffer.

ECHO Y | CHOICE   This fixes the ScreenSaver bug in ArcadeOS!
