Title: Interesting "scam"
Post by: crashwg on July 03, 2004, 01:07:18 am
I heard this on the radio this morning.

One of the members of "The Morning Buzz", a popular morning wake up show, recieved an E-Mail stating that

(Paraphrased quote) "If someone comes to your door and asks you to remove you clothes for a survey... Don't do it.  It's a scam.  They just want to see you naked."

Now obviously this may not be the most reliable source of information on this subject as it was an e-mail that was supposedly recieved by a radio talent who usually tries to be funny...  But can you imagine if it is true?  Do you think anyone would be dumb enough to do such a thing as remove there clothing for a complete stranger?

thats a variation on a few oldies but goodies:

"if someone knocks on your door and asks to see your tits, this is a scam. dont show them. they only want to see your tits"

>WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
      >IF YOU RECEIVE A GIFT IN THE SHAPE OF A LARGE WOODEN HORSE DO
      >NOT OPEN IT!!!! The "gift" is disguised as a large wooden horse about two

      stories
      >tall. DO NOT let it through the gates! It contains heavily armed
      >Greek warriors who will destroy your army, sack your city, rape and kill
      your
      >women, and carry away your virgin daughters.
      >
      >If you have already received such a gift, DO NOT OPEN IT!
      >Take it back out of the city unopened and set fire to it by the beach.
      >
      >The danger is very real! Forward this warning to everyone you know!

the latter ties in very well with the new movie...
