All,
I have the following cab that was converted to SFII. Anyone know what it was? Looks kind of like a Midway cab

Another one

Last one

Yeah, its an older style midway mono. I bet it was a Simpsons (based on the 4 joystick original layout you can see under the control panel).

Looks like the paint job is lousy, so you know what to do... Have at it with some paint remover! See what's underneath.
-
It's not a Simpsons, or TMNT or Sunset Riders, etc... the shape of the kickpanel area does not match those. The top of this thing is the only part that looks like a midway cab.
-
I think it is a Blades of Steel

It's not a Midway (Hanaho) or a TMNT/Simpsons (which isn't a Midway game, either). Both of those have over-sized CP's that extend past the outer edges (if only an inch or two). It looks alot like a Blades of Steel, which is a Konami game like TMNT and Simpsons, but with a smaller CP.

Looks like it all right:

Blades of Steel is stereo not mono...also if you look at the control panel above, the shape is the opposite of Blades of Steel.
Assuming it was painted black over the top of the original artwork, stripping the black will tell all.

If the coin door, coin mechs, or monitor are original, look for dates on them. This might help you narrow down your KLOV search to a certain year +/- 1 year.

Thank you all that played. The winner is.......
