Title: WG 4903- too much yellow
Post by: GameDork on June 26, 2004, 08:41:16 pm
Would a cap kit remedy this problem? There is WAY too much yellow in the picture. Other than that the monitor looks great!

I've messed around with the adjustments and can't get out.

Thanks

Put the picture tube on a restorer/analyzer to check the internal condition of the tube. If adjusting the controls on the neck board doesn't help then your tube may have a weak gun or possibly the driver transistor on the neckboard may be bad. Also check for bad solder joints at the video input signal connector on the main monitor board (foil side).

I got a few minutes today and checked things out. There were a couple knobs on the bottom side of the neckboard that I hadn't seen earlier and turned one of them and PRESTO!! The monitor looks beutiful!!!

Man, do I feel like a dumbarse ::) And happy dumbarse though...... ;D
