My new laptop does not have a ps2 port, so I tried hooking up my hotrod se through a female ps2 to male usb adapter. Unfortunately, while the keyboard passthrough works fine, any joystick movements or button presses on the hotrod itself are not recognized. Is there a specific adapter I should be using, or is there some other way to get the hotrod to work through a usb port? (To my knowledge here has been no news in sometime about hanaho's plans to release an official usb adapter, and they are not responding to support emails on the issue)

Well, I was going to suggest one of the converters, I'm using a QVS with my PS/2 keyboard to make it USB, but since it appears you tried that and it didn't work, the only other option I see would be to re-wire the HotRod to take out the HotRod PCB and wire in an I-PAC/2 or the new I-PAC VE.
