Title: Plywood Issues..
Post by: Acids on June 26, 2004, 07:42:51 am
Hello there.

I have a little problem with the base on the right side.
the plywood is starting to come apart...aarrggghhh.

The plywood is in Perfect condition for a varnish-type finish so i don't want to mess it up with screws etc.

Whats the best way to re-join the sheets ?   ???

EDIT..  The ply is comming apart.

Do you mean that the layers of the plywood sheet are starting to separate?  Or are two pieces of ply pulling away from each other?

Get some glue behind the part that is coming away for the plywood and clamp it until dry. If you don't want to clamp it put contact glue onto both sides and wait 20 minutes then press it together and it will hold.

Good Idea, the trick will be to get the gue in there without opening it apart any further   :-\
