Here's what to do:

Click this link (apeale69@hotmail.com?subject=buttons) to send me an email.  Indicate how many of which type of button you would like, and hit send.

Remember to include your REAL NAME as WELL AS your nick here, so I know who I'm talking to.  I will add your wants to a spreadsheet I have for this.

Edit: if you're NOT from the US, please indicate your country.

Price is $4.00 per button, plus Priority shipping in the US, and Global priority shipping outside the US.

Pre-Orders will be open for two weeks from today.  So, on July 8, 2004 @ 9pm EST, that will be the cut off.  The order will go out the following morning.

Don't think I've left anything out.

Concave.  Just like Happ horizontal pushbuttons, because they're made by the same people.

I guess the popularity of the first run has gotten the word out!  On my last order I was struggling to find enough to make it worthwhile, but finally did.  That was with a month of pre-orders.

This time around, it's been up less than a week, and I've already surpassed the old pre-order amount!

The buttons I'm getting are the same one supplied by Happ.  I don't know what kind of buttons Ultimarc has.

Well, the tallies for the buttons are currently:

Player 1: 75
Player 2: 75
Player 3: 22
Player 4: 22

For a total of 194 buttons (so far).  This nearly doubles the original order!

Don't forget, preorders end on the 8th!

Getting down to the wire.  Just had one person back out of their order.  I'd love to see the total of this order be over 250 buttons.  I'd also hate to see a lot of after pre-order regrets!

Good news and bad news.

The good news is that the buttons arrived today.  A big, huge box 'O buttons.

The bad news is that 1/2 the 1P buttons have been *backordered* despite my asking to receive the shipment in one lot.

Expect to hear from me in the next few days if you preordered buttons.

The only people I haven't emailed yet are most of the people who are out of the US.  It was easy to calculate the shipping for everyone in the US (a flat rate up to 1 lb).   Everyone not in the US I've been a little slow, and I apologize.  Going thru some 'difficulties' at home, and my wife and I are trying to tackle that.  I'll make sure that everyone gets mailed, though.

If you ARE in the US, and haven't received an email by now, it may have gotten filtered as Spam.  I had one message bounce back, as I'm using an actual email program with a Hotmail profile, and since the sending server didn't match the Hotmail server profile, I got a message saying 'this message smells like Spam.'  That was resent direct from Hotmail, and it went thru.

So if you're in the US, and didn't get a mail, PM me.

I just got home from work an the 'bizarro world' start buttons were waiting for me. They turned out great- much cleaner than the white start buttons I got from Wico recently.

I'd really like some of these buttons (1 ea 1, 2, 3, & 4) if they're still available.  I'm guessing I'm out of luck, but they'd look a lot nicer on my CP than the white ones I have now, so I'll cross my fingers.

There are some available, I just haven't had the time recently to dedicate towards this  project.

My wife and I are expecting our third child in May.  She's had an absolutely miserable time with the pregnancy.  So between taking care of her and the boys, I've barely had time to take care of the arcade stuff.

You're right though - it's time to take this post off sticky.  I'll probably stick the remaining buttons on eBay.

No worries, I'm not in a hurry or anything (I know how it is since I seem to be low on time to spend on my arcade hobby too), but you got me kinda worried with your remark about "selling the rest of the buttons on ebay".

Yeah, I thought that might have set some people off.

I've tried to follow this thread and at a minimum I do grasp your lack of available hobby time based on real life activities.....

Are there extras of these for at least player 1 and 2 that are or will be made available for sale?

I had someone pre-order ten of each button (1, 2, 3 and 4).  He's since dropped off the planet.  Since he's a stand up guy, and no one in our little circle has seen or heard from him, I fear the worst.

So since we've not heard from him, and I can't just sit on them (got bills to pay) they're going to be up for grabs.

Not sure how I'm going to do that.  

I've done a 'first come, first serve' in the past, but I always get bitchy emails about them.  "Oh, you started it off @ 9am, but gee whiz, that may be good for you, but I'm in bloody ANTARTICA!  It's like 3 am there, and I'll be asleep!  It's just no fair!"

I could stick them on my site...and just not say anything...and just let people order them from there...

Maybe a random number drawing.  I'll pick ten numbers between 1 and 100, and those people who get those numbers get the buttons.

Maybe a low-earth-orbit rocket, that will shower down the buttons on the populace.  Except that'll make them burn up on re-entry.  Hm....

Sorry to hear you are having difficulties at home.  I know, I have had some hard times myself with my family.  Hope everything works out for you.  Even though things can seem bad at times, I find that usually things work out in the end no matter what the trouble is.  So keep your chin up ;)  Anyhow thanks for keeping up with us international guys it is appreciated.

I'd think eBay would probably be the best...  10 lots of four buttons (one of each).  Auctions would be up for several days, and no one could say it wasn't fair to their time zone.

Although if you could find appropriate high-temp ceramic packaging, the low earth orbit rocket solution does sound interesting...

just keep a list of the top ten bidders then everyone gets em for the lowest bid that won
i really want a set of 1-4 and am willing to pay 20 buckeroos shipped

It took me many months to track down the people necessary in this endeavour.  The information is out there, young padawan.  But you must search for it.
