Title: Cool toggle switches for turning your cab on/off.
Post by: RacerX on June 24, 2004, 10:48:20 am
I just got my latest newsletter from Directron.com, a computer parts place that I have ordered from in the past, and they have these new switches that look pretty cool for use on a cab.  They're a tad pricey, but if you're looking for a cool on/off switch, you might like them.  And if you did some searching around, you might find them cheaper.

Those are sharp, and 12v would be easy to steal from a PS

I got a lighted rocker from the auto section somewhere, mounted on the coin door

Isn't $15 a bit expensive for a switch ... or is it just me ...  :)

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the cover on that type of switch will also turn the switch off...  So, depending on where you put the switch it may be too easy to turn off!

You may think that these seem expensive, but in all of the race catalogs that sell these for cars are around $15-$18 a piece without an LED. So these look like a bargin to me. Since I bought 2 of the racing ones a long time ago for my cabinet.

You were right crashwg in that if the cover comes down the switch goes out, so I am switching mine out with a momentary switch. Open the cover - push the button - close cover.
