Title: Best microswitches
Post by: Gradius on June 23, 2004, 05:53:44 pm
I have two brands of microswitches for pushbuttons: Cherry, which feel soft and somewhat quiet, and honeywell, which require more force to activate them. Which one do you prefer. Which of them is more resistant and durable?

Cherry switches are the industry standard, and are very reliable.

I doubt you will ever have a problem with one in a home arcade.

Both good reliable brands.

I like both...although I didn't like the Cherry's much which came in my HotRod some years ago...the ones Ultimard (& Happ?) use now seem to be much better.

The Cherry ones feel more gradual to me, whereas the Honeywell ones are pretty 'snappy'.  Both good :)
