My brother has a WG9200 in his cab in the UK but I sent it and the cabinet I built for him from here in the USA. I am so glad I don't live in the UK anymore I can't take that VAT at 17.5% it's a real rip off!

Have you tried the Happs office in the UK?

Wow, how much did it cost to ship the WG9200 and the cabinet?

I think it was $880 form door to port. However the import duty, VAT and cost to take it to his house was more than what  I paid to get it to the port in the UK. But it was worth it in the end he has his cab now and it was cheaper than the cabs he could have got in the UK anyway.

I just talked to Hanterax in the uk and got their pdf for the polo range emailed to me.

The polostar 28" looks good to me 15-25-31-35Khz and automatic switching should do the biz on an ArcadeVGA

Is the Kortek the same monitor as the Betson Imperial? About to be reviewed at Retroblast http://www.retroblast.com/reviews/betson.html (http://www.retroblast.com/reviews/betson.html)

Yes,

The beston Imperial being tested by Roroblast is really a re badged Kortek KT-2914. I asked Kevin and he mentioned that it actually came with a Kortek manual.

Thanks for confirming that. I'm checking the retroblast site each day for the review, his first impressions seem pretty positive so far, not to mention "800x600 is very clear and bright.".
It seems this kortek will be the mutlfrequncy to get, once his review confirms it I think we should look into a way of getting one in/to the UK.

The official distributors for W-G in the UK are:
Eurocoin Limited
Fortune House, Moxon Street
Barnet, Hertfordshire, EN5 5TS
United Kingdom
Tel:     44-181-275-3000
Fax:    44-181-275-3030

There are several places that supply Kortek. I'll speak to Suzo next time I am in there and get a price for the one mentioned.

That would be great if you could thanks, after reading the retrobast review the kortek is the one I want to purchase.

It seems that there may be two versions of the Kortek the KT2914 and the KT2914F I believe that the F is their flat screen version so be carefully to order the right one. When I talked to one of their reps he defaulted to the flat screen version.

I have asked Eurocoin for price and delivery on the KT2914 and they said they will get back to me. That was three days ago and no news yet, I'll wait.

I also just talked to Kortek in Korea and their is no logistics or stock held in Europe yet so any order will have to be processed and shipped from manufacturing. They use DHL airfreight
