Title: DOS FEs that delete games?

::Dumb Question Alert::

Is there a Front End that runs under DOS that will let me delete games I don't want.  I'd like to be able to try a game, and if I don't like it then hit a key and delete all the files for that game.  Is there anything out there that can do this?

I would NEVER add this to my frontend.

why?  I don't want my kids or wife deleting roms!  Kids by accident... wife because the game shows boobs.

There is a utility to do that at mameworld.net  But it will delete adult roms.

I was working on a utility that would allow me to move my rom directories and screenshot/marquee/flyer/cabinet images based on game info, but make it so it would fit on one CD rom.  But I lost interest.  Howard has something similar I believe.  You might be able to move all games you don't want into a directory... then delete them

Hey HC, if you read this.  This would be interesting addition to lazarus.  There would be an exclusions lists that if a game is in that list it won't show up in the Fe.

As to the original poster, I think if a FE does that they will just get rid of the game  on screen, not the files.

btw, many have filter options.  

JFront does at least (have to go check the others)

so I can say I want to look at

+adult, -fighter, -mahjang, favorite > 3

and I will get my favorites adult nonfighter nonmahjong games only.

Since you have to setup these before you start, you can make sure that each filter can filter 4player games or 4way games... depends on what you want.

Thanks for the input guys!  I guess I was just looking for something that would get rid of the game while clearing it from my hard drive all in one step.

I will be adding a "blacklist" sometime in the near future, but it will probably behave more like the searchstrings.  It will have a clause to it that if you searched specifically for a search string that is "blacklisted"  it will override.  In other words you could put in blacklist:7=*mature* and all adult games would be filted out in all of your lists unless you specifically added the 7=*mature* serachstring to the list.  

I'm just adding that for the kiddies mostly, but I guess it could have other uses, like blocking out unplayable games, ect.  

As for on the fly list changing, I don't like on the fly list changing.  I know if done properly it can make things easier for some users, but I know I wouldn't get it right and it would just make the interface akward.  Personally I want a list that I know is farily static.  The only time I want to see a change is when I've added new emus or new roms.
