I am in the process of completing my PSX controller hack (Performance Color GamePad). I've see a few site that show how to do this, and they have been rather helpful.
I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has preformed and completed a Playstation 2 controller hack?
The PS2 controllers PCB is primarily for the analog controls while a green plastic sheet acts as the contact for the digital controls.
I was just wondering how this might be pulled off - without being able to use solder what is the best way to connect wires to the plastic sheet or the connector on the PCB.

You can't solder on the plastic film.Get a "series H" PS1 dualshock pad. Those have a PCB inside. Why are you bothering with PS2 pads anyway ?
Its all analog so problems are expected. To my knowledge, all Sony PS2 pads uses that film.

I had an old PSX controller (the clear see-through one) a few buttons were sticking so I took it apart. .. And ummm I couldn't get it back together ::). So instead of just throwing it away, if I can hack it I will.
