Title: Can you change the screen size in Mamewah?
Post by: GGKoul on June 17, 2004, 04:21:21 pm
Having been along time MAME32 user for the past couple of years.  I've decided to switch to MAMEWAH.

Question, in MAME32, your able to change the "Aspect Ratio" from 4:3 to a larger number.  I've been using 23:21 in MAME32 and it widens the image so it looks more fuller on my 27" TV.

Just wondering if your able to change the 4:3 in MAMEWAH?  As I can't seem to be able to change it.

Thanks!

I guess you can change this in mame.ini, create this by doing 'mame -cc' at a commandline.   Generally this is where you set stuff which youd've set in a menu in MAME32.

How would I do this?

1) Open a commandprompt
2) Navigate to your mame folder, eg:
c:
cd\mame

3) Type 'mame -cc'

mame.ini will now be sitting in your MAME folder - edit it with notepad or similar.
